Well it's been a pretty busy week at Casa De Clueless - lots of new book promotion, lots of regular pay the bills work, family, upcoming house inspection, a bit of everything really. Luckily Sorare is now sending me emails to remind me to play, letting me know I have five hours to lock a team in as of a few minutes ago.
Best get to it then hey?
THE TIDE IS HIGH!
MVP of the Crispy Golden Schnitzels last round (and let's face it, with the rest of the team not doing much, it's pretty much every round at the moment) was Sands with a stonking 71 points and he's still commanding some nice coin at 300% what I paid for him.
Hilariously someone's put him up on the market for 46 Euro, which makes my current offer of just 10 Euro so much more appealing. And before you ask again Slowmatt, no you can't have him for 1 euro. Just no.
Every other Golden Schitzel is only a bees todge higher in value that what I paid so they stay team side for now.
To the moon Sands, to the mooooooooooooooooooooon!NOW WE PICK A TEAM (SO SORARE STOPS YELLING AT ME)
In the Limited Specialist stakes, I have a choice of just one player for every position. This is the issue with fielding such a small team, the fact that you really are not spoiled for choice. So the list of regulars looks uncannily familiar:
There's also less people playing specialist limited so my chances of winning something are slightly higher...but I'm still not expecting much outside of Sands continuing to grow..
Meanwhile in the casual camp, the high score come out to play while everyone else gets thrown into training (now that I have another GK, I can train a fourth team!) to hopefully sharpen their skills even further.
Top scorer of the top scorers Shuichi gets the captain's crown for this week.
No wait, it turns out he doesn't have a game. None of my goalkeepers do this round...gah. Caio is now captain.
Er boss, you've put new recruit Sam Vines in the mix this week but you haven't officially invited him to the Nada Fajita Tornadoes..As agent for Sam, conditions are one coca cola slushie every time he get highest score of round. We start with small slushie now but in six months, we renegotiate for medium size one yes?
Well you do drive a hard bargain there Shiggsy but okay...
BREAKING NEWS!
Just as I went to bed last night, an offer came in to take Sands off my hands for 7.75 Euro. 'Not bad' I thought 'Let's see if we can build from there.' And when I woke up this morning, I read he sold for 10 Euros! Considering I picked him up for 0.0007 ETH and sold him for 0.0065, that's quite a turnaround in just a couple of weeks.
Yes it did ruin the game he was selected to play in obviously, but I don't really care. I'm going to use those ten Euros to buy even more players with and see if I can have another couple of breakouts like Sands here over the next few weeks..
Edit: I managed to buy 12 new players for the price of Sands, wowee! We'll introduce these new lads soon!
TO BE CONTINUED!
